Yo siempre he estado atraída por el comercio. Yo en realidad empecé el año pasado en las ferias porque yo vivo por el sector. Entonces esta es la zona de las ferias y yo veía que gente cualquiera, vecinos como yo que viven en una buena casa con un buen carro, se paraban a vender su Coca-Cola, se paraban a vender sus sandwiches, sus cosas y, bueno, pues ellos se rebuscaban.

A mí se me da mucho la cocina. Entonces yo empecé a vender pastichos y arroz chino, que es una comida como de preparación rápida, se empaca y la gente la come en el almuerzo más que todo. Y pues eso como que me ayudaba cuando yo no tenía clientes como profesional del derecho. Si yo no hago un documento, si no voy al registro, si yo no represento a alguien yo me quedo como que nada. Entonces, fue como un rebusque que yo comencé a usar para poder obtener dinero.

Luego empezó la crisis en mayo. Todo se disparó, el arroz, no había pasta para pasticho, no había salsa, no había nada, no se encontraba nada. Entonces yo dije “bueno, voy a dejar de vender la comida y me voy a dedicar a buscar otra cosa.” Yo pensé “tengo que buscar algo que se venda, que sea vendible y que el producto no se me vaya a dañar.” Entonces yo decidí vender perrarina. De ahí para acá he estado vendiendo perrarina.

I have always been attracted to commerce. I actually started last year during the [Annual International] Fair because I live in the area. So, this is the Fair Zone and I saw that common people, neighbors like me that live in a nice house with a good car, went out to sell Coca-Cola, sandwiches, other stuff and, well, they made ends meet.

I am good at cooking. So I started selling lasagna and Chinese rice, which are fast-cooking meals, you pack them and people generally have them for lunch. And that helped me when I didn’t have law clients. If I don’t make a document, if I don’t go to the registry, if I don’t represent somebody I have nothing. So, it was a gig that I stated to use to get money.

Then in May, the crisis stated. The prices went through the roof, the rice, there wasn’t pasta for the lasagna, there wasn’t salsa, there wasn’t anything, you couldn’t find anything. So I said, “well, I am going to stop selling food and I am going to find something else.” I thought “ I have to ding something that sells, that is sellable, and that the product won’t spoil” So I decided to sell dog food. From then on I have been selling dog food.
