La situación me ha afectado bastante. Primero hubo una escasez de efectivo, luego el decreto [presidencial] de salida de circulación del billete de 100 hizo que la gente tratara de salir del billete rápidamente. Los últimos días que se recibía, yo recibí pero ya luego no hubo ventas porque ya no se recibían los billetes y no había efectivo. Todo el mundo depositó el dinero, entonces, las ventas cayeron. Hubo muchas pérdidas. Yo perdí. En el mercado mayorista perdieron mucha mercancía. Se perdió mucho.

The situation has affected me severely. First, there was a cash shortage, then the [presidential] decree taking the 100 Bs. bill out of circulation made people try to get rid of the bill quickly. The last days that it was allowed to receive it, I did but then there wasn’t any sales because you couldn’t receive the bill and there wasn’t any cash. Everybody deposited their money, so the sales went down. There was a lot of loss. I lost. In the wholesale market they lost a lot of merchandise. A lot was lost.
