Tengo una semana sin trabajar, prácticamente. Sin dinero, sin con que hacer mercado, ni nada. Pues decidí resolver mientras tanto con la hoja de hallaca.

En este momento traje hojas porque no hay aguacates. Los que viajan a traer el aguacate habían decidido no viajar más, pero como abrieron otra vez la circulación de billetes de 100 Bs. van a hacer dos viajes más. Uno que llegó hoy, compré, pero todavía no están maduros, me vienen saliendo es para el viernes.

Practically, I haven’t worked in a week. Without money, without anything to do grocery shopping, no nothing. That’s why I decided to make it work in the meanwhile with hallaca leaves (a traditional holiday dish.)

Right now I brought the leaves because there aren’t any avocados. The people who travel and bring the avocados decided not to travel anymore, but because they opened the circulation of the 100 Bs. bill they are going to make two more trips. The one that arrived today I bought some, but they are not ripe yet, they are going to be ready by Friday.
